How We Do Use Your Information: Information is only used as is reasonably necessary to process your application or to provide you with health or counseling services which may require communication between SoberHouseCalls.com and health care providers, medical product or service providers, pharmacies, insurance companies, and other providers necessary to: verify your medical information is accurate; determine the type of medical supplies or any health care services you need including, but not limited to; or to obtain or purchase any type of medical supplies, devices, medications, insurance.

If you apply or attempt to apply to receive assistance through us and provide information with the intent or purpose of fraud or that results in either an actual crime of fraud for any reason including willful or un-willful acts of negligence whether intended or not, or in any way demonstrates or indicates attempted fraud, your non-medical information can be given to legal authorities including police, investigators, courts, and/or attorneys or other legal professionals, as well as any other information as permitted by law.

Information We Do Not Collect: We do not use cookies on our website to collect data from our site visitors. We do use some affiliate programs that may or may not capture traffic date through our site. To avoid potential data capture that you visited a medical website, simply do not click on any of our outside affiliate links.

Limited Right to Use Non-Identifying Personal Information From Biographies, Letters, Notes, and Other Sources: Any pictures, stories, letters, biographies, correspondence, or thank you notes sent to us become the exclusive property of SoberHouseCalls.com. We reserve the right to use non-identifying information about our clients (those who receive services or goods from or through us) for fundraising and promotional purposes that are directly related to our mission.

Clients will not be compensated for use of this information and no identifying information (photos, addresses, phone numbers, contact information, last names or uniquely identifiable names) will be used without client’s express advance permission.

You may specifically request that NO information be used whatsoever for promotional purposes, but you must identify any requested restrictions in writing. We respect your right to privacy and assure you no identifying information or photos that you send to us will ever be publicly used without your direct or indirect consent.

  • Established ongoing technical training for SoberHouseCalls.com’s staff regarding the HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilized external information via the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association to assist in interpretation of the final regulations and to assist in the development of privacy policy compliance.
  • Implemented HIPAA-compliant electronic encryption software with our trading partners (providers and employer groups).
  • Secured Trading Partner Agreements (TPA) that define the electronic data interchange (EDI) standards and protocols so our computer systems can accept, process and generate HIPAA-compliant data.
  • Developed and implemented policies and procedures to comply with privacy and security standards.
  • Provided awareness and training to all SoberHouseCalls.com staff on privacy and security policies.
  • Implemented business associate contracts where necessary.
  • Conduct ongoing risk analysis as measured against HIPAA regulations.
  • Determine and implement modifications to systems, as deemed necessary by the risk analysis.
  • Enhanced the Business Contingency and Continuity Plan

ELECTRONIC PRODUCT REGISTRATION

When you buy and install a new product, we may ask you to register your purchase electronically. When you do, we merge your registration information with any information you’ve already left with us (we call that information your personal profile). If you haven’t previously registered with us, we create a personal profile for you from your product registration information. If you ever want to review or update that information, you can visit the Profile Center, click on Update Profile, and edit any of the Personal Information in your profile. If you haven’t already created a Registration ID, we will ask you to do so. This ensures that only you can access your information.

CUSTOMER PROFILES

As mentioned above, every registered customer has a unique personal profile. Each profile is assigned a unique personal identification number, which helps us ensure that only you can access your profile.

When you register, we create your profile, assign a personal identification number.  This code is uniquely yours. It is your passport maximum benefits across SoberHouseCalls.com, allowing you to take advantage of any special promotions that SoberHouseCalls.com may be having.

What we do with the information you share

When you join us, you provide us with your contact information, including your name and email address. We use this information to send you updates about your order, questionnaires to measure your satisfaction with our service and announcements about new and exciting services that we offer. When you order from us, we ask for your credit card number and billing address. We use this information only to bill you for the product(s) you order at that time.
